Certainly, BBC2 has every reason to be enthusiastic about Goodness Gracious Me, an Asian comedy sketch series which hit the ground running three weeks ago. Last night's edition was less spectacular than earlier shows (mid-series being the place where producers always dump the weakest sketches) but, if it occasionally limped a little, it still hobbled along 10 times faster than most comedy shows can run.
