Trivia

The show's title pays homage to the 1960 comedy record of the same name - Goodness Gracious Me - by Peter Sellers and Sophia Loren, promoting their film The Millionairess.

Goodness Gracious Me was originally conceived as a television series but sent to Radio 4 to develop before moving to the screen.

A number of sketches were performed live at Brixton Academy in 1999 as part of Comic Relief's The Debt Wish Show. Highlights shows were broadcast by the BBC on 12th June and 30th August.
