The estate agent featured in the first episode of Series 2 is called 'D&E Renwick'. D. Renwick being David Renwick, the often writing partner of Andrew Marshall, Dad's creator and writer. David Renwick wrote shows such as One Foot In The Grave, Jonathan Creek, and the infamous Two Ronnies Mastermind sketch.
