Birds Of A Feather trivia

The boring machines that dug the extension of the Jubilee line on the London Underground network during the 1990s, between Green Park in central London and Stratford in the east, were named Sharon and Tracey, after the Birds Of A Feather characters.

The parts of Sharon and Tracey as toddlers in the title sequence were played by 4-year olds Maxine and Stacey. Although Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson were young friends, neither's family was wealthy enough to own film cameras when they were that age.
