Series 5, Episode 4 - The Dreaded Circular Saw

In the confusion of the chateau 'fire', René and LeClerc - now in full German uniform - are captured by the Communist Resistance and held captive in an old sawmill. Meanwhile, the Colonel is distraught to learn that the original Fallen Madonna and van Gogh have gone missing.

During the pandemonium caused by the fire at the chateau, LeClerc breaks into the safe and finds the Fallen Madonna and the van Gogh instead of the invasion plans. He nicks these and escapes disguised as a German.
