The nominations for ARIAS 2023, The Radio Academy's awards which focus on audio shows and podcasts, have been announced.

Elsewhere in the shortlists, Kathy Burke is up for Best New Presenter for Where There's A Will There's A Wake, Patrick Kielty's BBC Radio 5 Live show Banana Stand is in the Best New Radio Show list, Elis James & John Robins are up for Best Speech Presenter, Craig Charles appears in the Best Music Entertainment Show shortlist, Romesh Ranganathan format For The Love Of Hip Hop has been selected by judges for Best Specialist Music Show, Rob Delaney's A Heart That Works is in the Best Audiobook or Reading shortlist, and The Skewer is also nominated for The 2022 Special Award, which focuses on themed programmes broadcast following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

The results will be announced at a ceremony on 2nd May, hosted bu Rylan and Fleur East.

Rylan says: "I'm so excited to be hosting the ARIAS again this year! Radio is a big part of my life and I know from doing my own show, it's a big part of people's lives around the country too. From car rides to listening while doing the dishes at home, radio and podcasts allows you to be a part of people's day and for that reason, I love them. I want to wish a big congratulations to all the nominees today and I look forward to revealing all the winners on 2nd May".
