Rory opens the cell to discover that it is an imprisoned Lovley, or so he thinks. When Nebulous checks it he discovers the prisoner in the form of his clown father. Paula finds Nebulous trapped in the cell when she looks.
Although she realises that it is not the real Professor, Paula still sets the fake Nebulous free. The real Professor then reveals that their cargo is a shapeshifting alien called a 'Yarwood', before killing it.
