Further details

Multi-award winning comedian Joe Lycett is the new host of BBC Radio 4's It's Not What You Know. Joe's first panel of celebrity guests - to be quizzed on how people close to them answered certain questions - are television presenter Tim Lovejoy, and comedians Holly Walsh and Nish Kumar.

Lycett takes over from Miles Jupp, who having hosted the popular series from its inception in 2012, now hosts Radio 4's The News Quiz.

Joe Lycett says: "We had the most terrific fun recording the new series of It's Not What You Know and I personally can't wait for audiences to hear about Adrian Chiles' worrying eating habits, discover Nish Kumar's homicidal mother, and enjoy me having an argument with Vanessa Feltz."

BBC Radio Comedy's Executive Editor, Julia McKenzie, says: "Anyone who heard Joe in the final of our New Comedy Award in 2011 knew that he had something special and since then he has made his mark as a highly distinctive, assured and hilariously funny performer. His mischievousness is irresistible and his star quality undoubted so we are delighted that he has taken up the role of host."
