Nathan Caton is the first in his family to graduate from university, but much to his family's annoyance decides to opt for a career as a stand-up comic. His family wants him to get a 'proper job' using his architecture degree.
Combining Nathan's stand-up with acted sitcom scenes from his family life, listeners witness the criticism, interference and the rollercoaster ride he endures as he pursues his career. Can Nathan persuade his family to support his career choice?
Mum would love to brag about her son, but with Nathan only telling jokes for a living it's hard to do.
Dad works in the construction industry and hoped father and son might work together. He wants to get Nathan out of comedy by any means necessary.
