My real name is Pete Brooksbank. Don't ask me why I named myself after a radioactive town in Ukraine: I joined a long time ago and it seemed a good idea then.
I was was one of ten winners of BBC's Sketch Factor and subsequently joined BBC Radio 4's Recorded For Training Purposes as a staff writer, first under James Cary (series 1) and then Rhodri Crooks (series 2). I contributed to series 3 as a non-commissioned writer. Since then, I've had one sketch on Damn The Torpedoes and came runner-up in When Saturday Comes football writing prize. Form an orderly queue please, agents.
