Some professions - and hobbies - are expensive. Some aren't.

Comedy writing is certainly one of those activities that shouldn't cost you a fortune to get started in.

Indeed, you don't really need anything.

As the hugely successful Andy Riley (Sherlock Gnomes, Year Of The Rabbit, Seize Them!) puts it:
