After the slow and agonising death of Men Behaving Badly, much is expected of Simon Nye's new sitcom How Do You Want Me? (BBC2) - which is produced for the BBC by Kensington Films and Television, a division of Harmsworth Media, owned by Associated Newspapers, publishers of the Evening Standard. I hope that the Nolanesque purity of that last declaration did not undermine my credibility when I say that this first episode was very funny and very promising.

Peter Bradshaw, Evening Standard, 25th February 1998

Last night on Tharg, the new series of Men Behaving Badly (BBC1) very probably bombed, but in this solar system it went off with a big bang, shooting meteorically across the night sky (rather like an overextended metaphor). Itself the very antithesis of the dire Game On (which briefly disgraced our screens earlier in the year), this superb chronicle of the sordid joys of bachelor existence never lost its momentum for a second, hitting the screen running, and ducking and diving right up to the closing credits.

Victor Lewis-Smith, Evening Standard, 26th May 1995
