Robert Webb and Victoria Hamilton play warring divorcees in this superbly performed, spectacularly grim one-off from former Simpsons writer Julie Thacker-Scully. Pitched almost entirely on one, weapons-grade emotional setting, with Webb screeching at Hamilton in full-on Linda Blair mode, this passes through black comedy into some kind of nihilistic death cult. Possibly cathartic for those going through separations, but deeply odd nonetheless.

Peep Show might be over but Robert Webb quickly returns to the sitcom fray in this one-off pilot as part of the Landmark Sitcom Season and there is plenty to enjoy here.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 1st September 2016Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie - review
Producers did not release the Ab Fab film to the critics ahead of its release yesterday, which is rarely a vote of confidence. Add to that the fact that it's a big-screen adaptation of a sitcom - a genre with a patchy track record, The Inbetweeners Movie notwithstanding - and that it uses the tired and tested plot device of plonking their characters somewhere foreign, and the signs are not encouraging. Yet despite such portents, Absolutely Fabulous is as much of a fun, raucous romp as fans would have hoped for - director Mandie Fletcher throwing proceedings into the preposterous story and high camp with as much vigour now as there was when the series started a rather incredible 24 years ago.

British Comedy Guide, 21st April 2016This topical comedy show brings together young British comics, including Dane Baptiste, Ivo Graham, Rhys James, Ellie White and Jamie Demetriou. It feels like a scattershot ensemble, but makes slightly more sense when you learn this is being positioned as a reboot of The 11 O'Clock Show, the late-90s format that helped to shape the current comedy mainstream by employing everyone from Ricky Gervais to Sacha Baron Cohen, David Mitchell, Robert Webb, Charlie Brooker and Robert Popper.
Rachel Aroesti, The Guardian, 17th March 2016Radio Times review
Radio Times Top 40 TV Shows of 2015, #25:
It all ended this year, in true Peep Show style, with both a bang and a whimper. Never before has a programme's grand finale combined a kidnapping, urine-drinking, Delia Smith, and a jibe about overpriced coffee with such effortless pizzazz. Our heroes ended up alone, but together, and a fate any less dysfunctional wouldn't have rung true. Such was the joy of Peep Show: though Mark (David Mitchell) and Jez (Robert Webb) lived a life none of us would hope to emulate, from the bleakness emerged moments of familiarity. Who didn't recognise Mark's constant struggle - Kenneth Clark's Civilisation and sea bream, or Octopussy and a Twirl?
