There are lots of great things about this boisterous new comedy based around a failing fried chicken shop. For one, manager Mary (Katy Wix) spends most of this opening episode doing an impression of a fictitious Spaniard named Carlos, complete with 70s specs and tache. Mandeep Dhillon, Matthew Cottle and co are also on fine form as her colleagues, battling against inebriated customers at "drunk o'clock". Some gags are a little by-the-numbers but this series still looks to be more sizzling than half-baked.

Mandeep Dhillon: 'Cast becomes like family'

My Fried character, Amara, finds herself being forced to work at Seriously Fried Chicken to be honest. Her dad wants her to learn the value of money. She hates her job, and she's not very good at it either!

The third series of this comedy about a gobby group of schoolgirls draws to a close with the end of school prom. Amber (Alice Felgate) has been meticulously organising the foursome's plans for months, but her pals are stressed: Viva (Adelayo Adedayo) is lumbered with the task of making the event into a "tropical paradise" and Saz (Mandeep Dhillon) is fixated on taking a special someone along. Meanwhile, an ill-advised selfie derails Holli's plans to retrieve her mum's jewellery from the pawn shop.
