NextUp to stream Angel, Monkey Barrel and Backyard gigs

Streaming platform NextUp has launched three 'digitised' comedy clubs, with more to follow. Shows from Angel Comedy, Monkey Barrel and Backyard Comedy will now regularly stream directly to NextUp's platform as part of their innovation and access strategy.

Jamali Maddix wins at British Podcast Awards 2022

Jamali Maddix: Spooky Shit has won the Best Comedy Podcast prize at the 2022 British Podcast Awards. This Is Gay took the silver award, with host Kirk Flash also winning the BBC Sounds Rising Star Award. Cold Case Crime Cuts was awarded bronze.
