Suddenly a terrible threat begins to advance across the countryside with an unlikely 'army' in tow. Cassie and Glen split up, and a captive Cassie must improvise - with the aid of a drunken farmer and the pub landlady. The enemy's ability to manipulate time, space and perception threatens to envelop Glen unless he can use some skills he's learned from Cassie. Meanwhile, Quite is hiding something.
