Tim Key has been reunited with his Edinburgh Comedy Award, after it went missing in Wales.

The trophy features in his current show, Mulberry, which he had been performing at the Aberystwyth Comedy Festival on Sunday.

Travelling back to England on the train however, he tweeted that his suitcase was missing.

"Did anyone accidentally take a small yellow suitcase off the 9.29am train from Aberystwyth to Birmingham this morning?" he posted. "Could do with getting it back. It's got two suits and a Perrier Award in it (I won in 2009)."

The Witchfinder and Alan Partridge star then added: "Also if you took it but not accidentally, feel free to get involved, really need it back."

Happily, the comic, coincidentally currently starring in BBC shorts The Train with creator Lucy Pearman and Kiell Smith-Bynoe, later discovered that the suitcase was still in Aberystwyth.

"The yellow suitcase has been found," he wrote. "Only slight tweak in the narrative is that it LOOKS LIKE I left it on the platform in Aberystwyth when I got on the train. The important thing here is that it's back. Thanks for your help!"
