David Trent: Live at the Pleasance Courtyard is David Trent's third ever Edinburgh show. Blowing Edinburgh's mind since 2012, the Best Newcomer nominee returns with his unique brand of tech heavy comedy and high-octane audio-visual onslaught. Trent delivers intelligently depicted yet hilariously explosive observations of modern day pop culture, promising to be the ultimate in Trentertainment™.

FACT: He is an 'Alternative comedian' who has spent the last 18-months breaking into mainstream clubs, he has succeeded!

This year David Trent will be setting his sights on his children's requests to watch the video for Blurred Lines, his reactions to being snooped on by the NSA, DJ Locksmith, the greatest hype man of his generation, Barrington Irving's inspirational flying classroom and Nick Griffin's move into the arena of cookery to name but five specific things he will be including in his show.

Since last year's show David Trent: This is All I Have, David has co-hosted on XFM radio with his great pal James Acaster, and has hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra's Comedy Club. He is currently writing and performing on Nick Helm's Heavy Entertainment BBC Three show and he has another show being developed with BBC Three alongside James Acaster.
