It's hard putting on a show. Especially if your cast's social lives are practically Shakespearean. As the date of the show approaches, Nate tries to win the girl of his dreams: Candice. The only problem is that she is not allowed to date until her sister Anna does and her temper makes that an unlikely event. Nate will stop at nothing and decides to pay Dan to date Anna. Nothing is ever simple though and as the director gets more and more hysterical and backstage drama thickens, Dan isn't sure if it's only about the money.
