Loopey

I didn't realise grandmothers could be so young.

And beautiful.

Congratulations. :)

(HGT - and you too - the congratulations bit - but you did miss a "d" out of grandchild ) ;)

I saw a lovely bright yellow butterfly today.

I liked this observation.

Was it a silver washed fritillary?

Here we are, here we are and here we go . . . .

Off to (potentially) my last Quo gig !

Tell us how it was when you're back.

Congratulations Loopey!

I doubt it will be the last.

But how many is that in total?

He did say HIS last Quo gig. He is Old you know.

Must be in three figures now. I've been watching Quo since 1977 .

Some are FF, some are current Quo but, I have to say that tonight was, for me, the most enjoyable concert of them all.

:D

A bit of research has shown me it was probably a Brimstone.

Ah - I've never heard of that one. Some of the butterflies do have brilliant colours. :)

Pleased you enjoyed it. Three figures is incredible.

My maximum is 13. That was the Pogues.

The next ones down are around the 4 or 5 mark.

I knew it! I said back in Feb. when I hit 70 you were 69, but you wouldn't admit it then. ;)

You're doing it again, you old smoothy, and I'm allowed to miss out letters owing to age.........or dementia. :(

Somehow......my months holiday is up. Leave for home tomorrow. Don't feel ready to go. Thought by now would be missing my job but haven't in the slightest.

Just land in Italy in a boat, make your way up through Europe and hop on the first Calais-Dover ferry.

Easy, you're in and can stay.

We'll leave the key under the flower-pot by the front door.

Must be the season for grandchildren, I will be grandad for the third time in May.

You have to stop at four, else the world will overpopulate.

Grandad Goodlad has a pleasing rhyme to it.
