The Olympics Page 13

Cancelled hydrogen cars for town hall, sacked 2 deputy mayors.

One for being a racist, the other a serial crook and liar.

Wasted 1000s on investigations all that came to nothing.

Cancelled bendy buses with out finding a replacement leading to a drop of 1000s of spaces on high usage routes.

All this whilst having devolved many of his powers to deputies 9exactly what ken was accused of when he was head of GLC)

That bloody stupid no drinking on the bus rule, that's uneforcable.

Cancelled the Rise festival, and generally undermind any work on reducing knife crime or racism.

Quite alot of crap for a fundamentally lazy man.

Oh he got a haircut, and stop writing funny articles.

I take it that you are talking about Boris Johnson, not Ken Livingston? Sorry, I know nothing about London affairs so I can't tell.

Yes I rather bitterly look forward to telling people told you so in a year or so.

The real damage is jsut beginning. He's funny and charming, he's also a monster in the making.

What an awful thing to do. :O

Does anyone else hear the music from The Exorcist?

Hang on, aren't those good reasons to sack someone?

Yes but he hired them in the first place.

Ken didn't make those mistakes till his last year.

And even that was Lee "slightly rude e-mails" Jasper

Boris just wasted at least £50,000 maliciously and unsuccesfully digging up dirt on him.

Are you Londoners looking forward to it?

It's very controversial. This one isn't.

Quote: Charly @ August 10 2008, 2:51 PM BST

Hey, the sea isn't only 1 mile long, silly!

No, but you can get the 'run-up' for it, and the space to slow down afterwards.

Quote: zooo @ August 10 2008, 2:53 PM BST

But the actual event will be a bit of a pain in the arse.

To say the least.

Quote: zooo @ August 10 2008, 2:53 PM BST

Still. Boris might be on telly a bit.

:D

Vain c**ts who didn't trian for the olympics jsut to walk out.

You're now implying that reason and logic have a place in religion. Particularly the Iranian national mentality of that religion.

Quote: Finck @ August 10 2008, 3:02 PM BST

Aah, is it Boris F. Johnson, perchance?

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, actually.

Quote: Nil Putters @ August 10 2008, 3:04 PM BST

Funny on HIFNFY as a lovely baffoon, but not funny as Major of our capital. Sorry, but the man's an idiot. How does that make us look to the rest of the world? I can't believe Londoners voted for him. Was Livingston really that bad?

I've been even more satisfied with Boris than I thought I would.

What has he actually done to satisfy you?

Osterich feather, and foot rubs?

I take it that you are talking about Boris Johnson, not Ken Livingston? Sorry, I know nothing about London affairs so I can't tell.

And he's looking at it from a deluded perspective. Pretty much all of those points would - or could - be true of any politician.

Quote: sootyj @ August 10 2008, 3:26 PM BST

Yes but he hired them in the first place.

Oh that's so stooopid. :)

Like those people that have a go at politicians for 'flip flopping'.
You'd prefer them to never admit a mistake?? And carry on with it blindly?

Idiotic.

I know. Shocking, isn't it? I mean, you find out that someone is naughty and unreliable, and you bloody sack them! Whatever next, jailing rapists? :S

Hm. Someone told me it was Boris F**king Johnson. But maybe that person was just sad about the election result and got a bit confused.

Lee Jasper is a slimy, smarmy, corrupt c**t of the highest order.
