I rather liked the bits they showed on Comic Relief the other night.

He still really scares me though.

Chris Lilley? Pah. The funniest guy to do TV in Australia over the past decade is John Safran. Wonder if any of his stuff has aired in the UK?

Never heard of him. But Lilley is excellent; and that rare breed, a break out Australian funny man.

I've not seen that much Safran, but the few times I have seen him he seems to subscribe a bit to the "I am offensive, therefore I am funny" school.
I don't think he's near it yet, but some critics here hailing Lily as the greatest Australian character comedian since Barry Humphries. He certainly is trodding the same path, and that's high praise indeed.

He's taking his time with the follow up, though. I'm sick of waiting.

The extended trailer for "Angry Boys" aired here on Wednesday night - its just about to show. There are a few familiar faces and a lot of new ones. It looks interesting. The story seems geared to creating a bit more of a relationship between the characters he plays than in the past.
