Funny cartoons Page 5

A group from 1939 - I expect beaky knows them well, and often had a drink with them.......?

And speaking of David Langdon, as we were - apparently he started cartooning in 1937. See, this thread is also educational. ?

David Langdon was cartooning for ever, or so it seemed

So, see above - started in 1937 and was still cartooning aged 97 when he died in 2011 - no wonder you think that beaky. ?

I wonder if there are any funny cave paintings ? "The word caricature is first recorded in English in 1748" Hogarth and all that. Are there cartoons that predate the 16 hundreds ?

Of it's time. I expect not many will know the significance of this, but I remember my Mum playing this game with me when I was a toddler.

I believe Bradford fans get a bit uppity if their colours are described as red and yellow.
They'll correct you with claret and amber.
