Not directly, because I'm not British. I'd have to download chrome and do 'things' with it...pretending to be English. I have to ask a friend who is "good with computers" because I'm hopeless.

Oh, well you learn summat every day - I always thought that if it was on the net and you were that you could access anything in the world. :(

I have access to the radio content but they don't let me watch the TV stuff. Racists!

"BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only. Find out why.

If you are in the UK and see this message please read this advice."

Well that's just f**king stupid.

According to the wireless Gordon, it seems like your lot have decided to take all of Europe's flotsam and jetsam ! Thanks from the rest of us.

:D

That was a pragmatic decision in a lose-lose-situation: we had to choose between being called "opportunistic moneygrubbers" or "racists" by the rest of the world...again. The economy has won this time.

Fair enough if you ask me. Has he paid for a license?

Well, we got down to the nitty-gritty on another thread, and it seems Gordon cannot access iPlayer but can watch all British TV on regular channels, so it seems the question of a TV licence doesn't come into it.

I've explained that before but maybe this is the right place to do it once more. In Switzerland we pay a licence fee for our own crappy channels. But we get them in a package with lots of international channels.

So we can watch BBC for example but that doesn't mean we have access to special services like iPlayer.

Well, it looks a nice selection to me.... :)

Well done, FC Basel!

Herc, still posting songtitles by this obscure little band from Liverpool? ;)

Ironically, I cannot stand the Liverpool football team, so well done Basel - it warms the cockles of my heart. :D

I'm sure Sybel isn't happy.
