What are you watching on TV? Page 1,947

I gave up to much like Archers meet Night of the Living Dead

Blackfish - The Whale That Killed.

Really uncomfortable viewing :(

That's a powerful and sad film.

Not least of all because you feel for the orcas and the trainers and only hate the c**ts at seaworld.

Me too.

I would very much prefer zombies.

Only watching it now with half an eye but I do hope the aliens get that little shit of a child with the squeaky voice.

Keewik you don't live in a cottage made of candy with a child sized oven by any chance.

Are you psychic?

Not but I think one of the spiders is.

So true - the experts described it as a form of orca psychosis and you can see it slowly building. The video of the trainer being repeatedly dragged by his foot to the bottom of the pool was really chilling.

I also hated the part where the mother had her calf taken from her - and cowered in the pool making noises they hadn't heard before. An expert confirmed that these were long range noises. She was trying to call to her baby. :(

We went to SeaWorld several times when I was younger. I always wanted to be a trainer - it looked so much fun. Never again though. They always struggled against Disney and this film will hopefully result in them shutting down for good. Or at least removing the orcas from the site.

Of course Orcas for all their intelligence are in the wild the ultimate apex predators, in that they are both cruel and ruthless.

Perhaps we see something of ourselves in them.

That makes their predicament at SeaWorld so much more tragic. Reduced to performing for fish.

That's been my teaching technique for years. Although they haven't managed to drag me to the bottom of the pool and drown me yet. That's not to say they haven't tried.

Do you honk horns as well?

you dirty old man

Snooker final...Stephen Fry is in the audience.

And Nico McBrain, Iron Maiden's drummer.

Watching HIGNfY, I wondered why Bridget Christie said she was "hitting the moth with a shitty stick". She then changed 'hitting' for 'beating', and after a bit, I realised she meant "beating them off with a stick".
