Stand-up DVDs

Recommend some stand-up DVDs.

I recently saw Lee Nelson Live, and it was hilarious. His interaction with the audience has always been the best part of Lee Nelson's Well Good Show and this DVD has plenty of that.

Lots more to watch, including Jon Richardson and Dara Ó Briain to name but two.

Lee Nelson Live

Whose DVD has had you laughing until your face hurts? Supply a link, so Aaron the site can make some money too.

I much prefer listening to a stand up album than watching it on DVD, but here are a few good ones:

Stewart Lee: '90s Comedian'

Louis C.K.: 'Chewed Up'

Paul F Tompkins: 'You Should Have Told Me' and 'Laboring Under Delusions'

Zach Galifianakis: 'Live At The Purple Onion'

Simon Munnery: 'HELLO'

I've got the Galifianakis one and a Louis C.K. one to watch, at some point. Never heard of Tompkins though.

These links don't seem to be working, Aaron.

Woops. Try again. :)

Sorted.

Here's the Stand Up Albums thread, too.

Now, I really like Lee Nelson but I felt his live show was quite disappointing as the humour and jokes were dragged out on purpose. Basically just a long 80 minute episode of Well Good Show.

Anything by Bill Bailey.

I f**king love Lee Evans, he is just brilliant and a pure legend.

Bill Bailey's 2013 Qualmpeddler is very good.

Jimmy Carr's 2013 Laughing and Joking was excellent along with Michael McIntyre's 2012 Showtime! Both fantastic stand-up gigs.
