Prozzies can do amazing things with feathers.

I think I'm definitely more a bobble hat than a feather boa kinda owl, I mean, gal. Back to seething and bitching, the traditional writerly way

Blakes 7. Series of presequels on R4+

Shoot the dog by George Michael

I'm thinking that this is pretty much the 'complete' single because it has everything. I'm not saying it's the best thing ever released but it still sounds great.

A dancey groove, satire / political message, controversy, sampling, a rap, an animated video, parody, humour etc

So damn funky you might have to spray your room with air freshener after listening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3-MHi5gRow&NR=1&feature=fvwp

Mark Steels in town

Also up for a hatful of awards is Martin Simpson; don't know the new album, but he will have to go some to do better than this classic, possibly the most heart-tugging song ever written by a son about a father:

I <3 that song. Though I have to disagree, and say that 'Daddy Cool' beats it hands down in terms of pathos.

Borderlines by Terry Poison

Starless by King Crimson. (if there is a...) God I love it. Frip-ing marvelous.

I <3 that song.

I saw Martin Simpson at a festival a couple of years back; he had stepped in as a last minute replacement and pulled together a scratch band for the gig - it was one of the best sets I have ever seen; even Bellowhead who were up next failed to top it, and there were fifteen of them and they threw in a firework display.

Blakes 7. The early years.
Blake has found a home on R7/R4+. The radio version of the original series was excellent. This series of prequels is a little patchy but generally very above the norm.

Absolute 70s, it's brilliant no ads and its kassee kasseem.

The music library is on random play; Vaughan Williams' Folksong Suite has just segued into Danny and the Juniors' At The Hop - I am not sure either has benefited from the juxtaposition.
