Was listening to Craig Charles on Radio 2. Playing some good stuff - then Red Red Wine by UB40 so I turned over to Radio Surrey - and they were playing Kingston Town by them.

I HATE UB40!

Saturday nights alright for fighting by Elton (Marmite) John.

Yes, Wishbone Ash are unexpectedly in the Horseradish collection.

Many years ago, I was given the records to borrow as it was apparently "time I got rid of my preconceived ideas on some types of rock". And I did very partially - specifically in relation to them. I do still like them.

A favourite YT game is seeking out unusual audiences. Oddly, they tend to appear in poor quality videos of songs that many in the West would find challenging. I love these two. They are both so atmospheric.

I guess that the woman in the first is rather like Madonna to the very conservative crowd watching her. If I am not mistaken, it is entirely male. She is actually very famous and the repetitive music is a variation on a traditional style. It only made sense to me when I started listening to it trance like. Now I really like it.

The second is probably my favourite audience of all time. Even at the beginning of the film, it is clear that the people are natural in a way we somehow no longer can be. Then, Sam Mangwana - for I think it is he - joins them in quite a novel fashion with consequential chaos. The entire vibe of the place is almost tangible.
