Not in the sense of love. But Lesley Duncan wrote the song and he recorded it. It's a track on "Tumbleweed Connection" - as posted by Gordon some pages above - and I think it is her singing on that version too.

I know and have Tumbleweed Connection and remember Lesley Duncan and the fact that she was a great songwriter but I'd totally forgotten that she wrote that.

Recently got a double Elton hits CD. Wish it contained Border Song. The first song of his I heard and loved the gospel feel. Not heard it for decades.
