Any suggestions ? For England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales or anywhere else?

The problem is that none of the patron saints are from the country the are supposedly from.

I think for England, our saint should be both nice, someone who does not any harm, English of course, and a Christian. Perhaps someone like Tamsin Greig?

Tamsin Grieg is perfect! Very English and lovely.
But I'd prefer an atheist, better sense of humour. Stephen Fry maybe?

Nah, not Stephen Fry. Julie Walters would be better for England. Funny, down to earth, and not usually involved in establishment "comedies".
