And? Was it good?

It was very good & enjoyable, yes. Basically they were sitting in their "heavenly" dressing room, bantering with each other and, in the process, analysing their respective acts - and analysing comedy in general (even Robb Wilton got a mention). Quite short - 80 minutes with no interval although there was a Q&A afterwards. Don't think that's the case with every performance though. Apparently it started off at the Edinburgh Festival last year and it's now heading for a 5 week stint on Broadway.

Would it mean anything to anyone on Broadway?
Well there are Brits over there of course - in the same way as there are Americans in London. And both Tommy Cooper and Morecambe & Wise appeared many times on the Ed Sullivan Show back in the day. And, even if not, the play stands alone to a certain extent just as three comedians analysing their comedy. Forgot to say there are also plans afoot to make a film of it (whether TV or cinema).
What day was that Billy?

You asked me that two years ago. Back in the day...

Well did you tell me then?
On a brief break to Dorset (neatly arranged between Derby Day & Royal Ascot) and, as luck would have it, the local theatre here is staging a production of Ray Cooney's farce Caught in the Net (the follow-up to Run for Your Wife). Needless to say I have snapped up a ticket.
