The Olympics Page 63

Massively disappointed by the sheer lack of Womens Beach Volleyball on the BBC. I'm tired of watching dull arse events, that we are rubbish at, in half empty venues.

The starchy and Victorian minded BBC are seemingly embarrassed to show it and probably view it as sexist nonsense.

The fact that the event was one of the most sought after tickets at London 2012 seems to have been disregarded and instead we're subjected to Mens Gymnastics and road cycling.

Sort it out BBC!

I can't believe that every time I have tried to watch an Olympic sport it has been either Football or Tennis. Like, WTF? I was looking forward to the Olympics because if it means we have to have sport on the TV at least it is not Football or to a lesser extent tennis. But that's all I've seen so far! What's going on.

Actually, I did see swimming yesterday. It was fine, but not really exciting. You can't see their faces, so no emotions are really involved. You can't get get behind them in the same way as you see in other sports where they're on the verge of tears or joy.

You're not looking hard enough. I watched some last night.

Are you guys not 'red buttoning'?
There's about 20 sports on that.

Yeah, they showed about 20 minutes of it at 11pm - like a sordid late night programme.

Thing was, it looked brilliant. Music, dancers, the venue, the crowd - it was like a massive party.

Same here. :(

I am on Freeview though, which am the retarded cousin of Sky and Virgin.

Aidan Burley MP relaxes to non-lefty PC Olympic opening- http://tinyurl.com/d3ehdxl

Recognized as the only masterpiece of Olympics ceremony films, I think all artistic directors of them should refer back to this to stop them being so soppy floppy lefty liberal inclined camp performance art trash romps. Ours looked like Mary Poppins meets Peter Pan meets It's A Knockout.

Are you on satellite or cable?

I forgot it was on and ended up watching Quantum of Solace. Which has a brilliant boat chase sequence.

I did the same, and yes it was one of the best Bond boat chases ever but I did wonder why such a shabby old bath tub of a boat had a better engine than the super power boats the villains were in.

Back to the olympics, the ceremony should really have had Bond in it!
