I wear glasses because I'm short sighted, but wear contact lenses if I'm going out somewhere. I wear glasses for school because if I'm writing for a long period of time, it helps to take my glasses off, otherwise I tend to get a headache. They sometimes really bug me, but others I forget I'm even wearing them.
Worn glasses since I was a kid. If I'm out, I go out half blind.
I wear glasses unless doing sporty stuff or socialising. Especially at the local Swinging for Singles club.
Yes I wear my glasses now-in the past, vanity meant that it interrupted my good looks so I wouldn't wear them. However now I'm on the (very) wrong side of thirty so things are starting to blur more when I read.
I wear glasses, yes, but only in the safety of my house. It's contacts for the outside world.
My left eye is so blurry that if my right eye was as blurry as the left eye I'd be blind as a bat. My optician tells me that because my right eye is almost 20/20 and my left eye is really weak, the right eye is doing all the work hence the right eye could end up being as bad as the left eye.
That's why I wear my glasses now.

It certainly can be. It's not always.
I wore my new glasses to work a few weeks ago and one of my younger colleagues said he really liked them because they suite me and make me look more serious. He could have left it at that but oh no, he HAD to keep going. "Yeah it's like whatever you say now people will believe you cos the glasses make you look so intellectual".

I wear glasses.
I've worn glasses since I was 13 but I used to only wear them when reading. Ever since my job relied on being in front of a computer my eye sight quickly degenerated and now I wear them from the time I wake up to when I go to bed.
You get used to it eventually. Pedros.
