Guilt - The sitcoms you daren't admit you love? Page 3

It is Alan's choice but John Gordon Sinclair is just one of those guys who is so funny without trying. It is not highbrow stuff but I have watched it a dozen times and could watch it a dozen more :D

I was quite fond of Hardware, the Simon Nye comedy starring Martin Freeman and that guy out of Coronation Street. Bad, but strangely enjoyable

agreed, loved it when they would pick on the people who had no clue about DIY - so true to life as well :D

Yes, Hardware was good stuff indeed. :)

Mad About Alice?

I told you I saw that live and he looked like a man who needed the money!

Has Hardware been released on DVD?

Laughing out loud

Nope, don't think so.

Desmonds. Saved By The Bell. And Press Gang. The latter two because they feature teenagers and the older I get the more of a paedo I feel when watching stuff with wee nippers in.

I used to really like No Problem!

What was that?

Never The Twain. Sinden and Davies in a comedy masterclass of how to take mugging top new heights. Strangely enjoyable, though.

Just to sum up what everybody has put. Please Sir in my opinion is a classic sitcom and nothing wrong with being a fan. Fresh Fields was shocking. Father Ted is amazing and definetly not over-rated.
My choice would be Never the Twain. Nothing attractive about it and can't describe why I like it, just find it very funny, though not many people agree with me.

Used to LOVE It Ain't Half Hot Mum.

Not seen it for ages but used to watch religiously.

'Meet the gang because the boys are here...'

No Problem! was one of the first black sitcoms, it was on in the 80s.

I recognise the title, but can't remember what it was about.

Black people.

Have to say I really quite like 'Everybody Loves Raymond'.

I seem to be the only person who liked Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive.

I loved that.

Evidently, the best people did. :)
