Not really, Allo Allo maybe. But to be honest there are more I am embarrassed to admit to not loving. e.g Alan Partridge, The Office...

Totally agree with you there

also the guy that replaced Jeff was just embarrassing. He was trying too hard to be Jeff.

Ironically, I thought the actor (Christopher Moynihan) who did Jeff in the much-criticized American version captured the character pretty well, better than the knock-off replacement in the UK version.

In fact, Colin Ferguson (now on "Eureka") as Patrick and Sonya Walger (now on "Lost") as Sally did their versions pretty well, too. The others just didn't get it.

When I Googled them, I saw porn. Teary

Sonya Walger was a very naughty girl in The Vice :D

I quite liked the Johnny Vaughan sitcom 'Orrible.

'Orrible was shite. The other sitcom Vaughan wrote, Top Buzzer, was much better.

Sonya Walger (now on "Lost").

I love you, Pennay! Laughing out loud

The whole Lee Evans show is on a certain tube.com

Just to sum up what everybody has put. Please Sir in my opinion is a classic sitcom and nothing wrong with being a fan. Fresh Fields was shocking. Father Ted is amazing and definitely not over-rated.
My choice would be Never the Twain. Nothing attractive about it and can't describe why I like it, just find it very funny, though not many people agree with me.

"fresh Fields was shocking"

I do hope this is some new street slag, like an updated 'wicked' (and let's face it wicked needs updating) Cos I would chomp on my own mothers flange if it was the only way I could see it again. Though it may spoil my enjoyment, not to mention my view.

Each to their own, mate.

There was a classic scene where Vaughan's mate had a complete breakdown on the street when he thought about some kids not getting to go to the FA Cup final, he kept screaming "their little painted faces!" and Vaughan had to reassure passers by that everything was alright "it was just the steroids talking".

Was funny at the time, anyway.
