The Look Of Love was produced with the working title 'The King Of Soho', a sobriquet by which Paul Raymond was often known. However, this name had been trademarked by his family and so could not be used for release.
The film is a fictionalised version of real events and biographical material taken from the biography Members Only: The Life and Times of Paul Raymond (republished edition), by Paul Willetts.
