Boots! Boots! trivia
Betty Driver, aged 11, was hired to appear in Boots! Boots!, travelling to the London studios to film, and remains credited as 'Betty' on screen. However, Beryl Formby objected to her during rehearsals and had her removed from the production, taking on most aspects of Betty's intended role as one of the hotel staff into her own performance.
John Willie was the stage persona of Formby's late father, George Formby Sr.
