Arthur Christmas is the tale of friendly, kind, but clumsy younger son of Santa Claus.
The entire business of Christmas and Santa's annual present deliveries is now much more high-tech, with Santa's sleigh now a gigantic flying saucer.
Arthur (James McAvoy) is the only member of the Santa family who is still captivated by the magic of the holiday, with Santa (Jim Broadbent) just doing his job, elder brother Steve (Hugh Laurie) running the business with high-tech efficiency and military-style precision, and 136-year-old Grandsanta (Bill Nighy) hating the modern world.
However, on Christmas night Arthur is given an important job to do which has to be completed before Christmas morning.
