Series 3, Episode 8 - Goodbye To All That

It seems that Bob is tiring of his home town and wants to join the army in order to see the world. Terry thinks he is just down because Thelma Chambers has dumped him but is surprised when Bob goes through with it. Terry struggles to adjust to his best friend's departure and eventually joins up himself, but he is in for a very big surprise!
