Terry McConnell is prepared to stop at nothing in fulfilling his dreams for his son Malky, the Ashes' star scorer - if only the boy wasn't more interested in wearing the black and white check outfit of Gordon Ramsey than the black and white strip of Bolton Wanderers. And the other parents aren't much better.
