Darwin Sprout is unemployed and shares his flat with best friend John Russell - they also share all the unpaid bills. Darwin, who has failed in his last 9 job interviews, has two weaknesses in life - the first is that he always tells the truth... the second is women. Telling the truth is not a successful strategy in the eyes of John, either for getting jobs or women. He determines to teach Darwin a few lessons in life.
