Used-car dealer Arnold Bristow regains consciousness after a hit-and-run accident with some rather startling revelations. Was it really who he says it was driving the car that hit him? Was what the driver shouted at him of such spiritual significance? Was the incident simply a reminder that he should be going out into the world to put to use a certain - hitherto unused - gift?
