Trip Hazard: My Great British Adventure. Image shows from L to R: Rosie Jones, Joe Wilkinson
Rosie Jones is joined by comedian Joe Wilkinson for a traditional seaside adventure in Whitby.

Further details

The North Yorkshire coastal town of Whitby boasts history, gothic architecture and the chippie that won the award for the UK's best fish and chips - which Rosie Jones and Joe Wilkinson obviously sample.

The pair start their adventure playing crazy golf with a dramatic view of the sea, before exploring the area's famed Jurassic coast where, under the guidance of a local fossil hunting expert, they attempt to find ancient relics on the beach. They successfully unearth more than they could have imagined, before setting sail on a fishing trip that ends in disaster when Rosie fails to find her sea legs.

As the inspiration for the novel Dracula, Whitby is a beloved destination for goths. So after a full gothic makeover, Rosie and Joe join a band on stage to scream until they're hoarse.
