Password to return to ITV

- Password, the comedic game show hosted by Stephen Mangan, is to return to ITV1 for a second series
- Producers are currently seeking contestants to take part in the next run
ITV has ordered another series of Password, the comedic word association game based on the long-running US format of the same name.
Launched on ITV1 in August 2024, the format is hosted by Stephen Mangan. The first series saw team captains Alan Carr and Daisy May Cooper each pair up with contestants and give one-word clues to help their teammate guess a mystery "password". The teams must try and get on each other's wavelengths, as they take it in turns to guess the all-important password across multiple rounds. "There's hilarious clues, guesses and lots more laughs as Daisy and Alan try and help our plucky contestants win a cash prize in the jackpot final."
A casting call has now gone out looking for members of the public to take part in the second series.
Yesterday, ITV confirmed the second series of The Fortune Hotel, another game show hosted by Mangan, would air on ITV1 this summer. This time the Caribbean-set show will be accompanied by a vodcast hosted by Ellie Taylor too.
The seven-part first series of Password is still available to watch on ITVX
