Dave will broadcast a new comedy special to mark Black History Month in October.

The one-off hour-long documentary, Just Jokes, will look at black comics and the UK comedy circuit.

Produced by Doc Hearts, it features comedians Dane Baptiste, Darren Harriott, Ivo Graham, Jason Forbes, Kemah Bob, Ola Labib, Thanyia Moore (pictured) and Sophie Duker, plus Dave television personality, chef and musician Big Zuu.

The channel says: "A host of black comedians and performers discuss their stories and experiences in comedy today, including dealing with hecklers, prejudice on the circuit and growing up in a black household.

"We find out what it means to find humour through your identity. Uplifting and celebratory, this programme injects funny stories into factual narrative."

A transmission date will be announced in due course.
