Murder, They Hope

Gemma and Terry must solve the murder of a wedding guest before they can say 'I do'.

Finally, Terry and Gemma arrive at the hotel 48 hours before their wedding to finalise their prep and relax in the hotel spa. However, Gemma's mum Patricia (Sherrie Hewson) and Monica (Sarah Hadland) have other ideas and they don't involve relaxation. Not least because Patricia has bought her boyfriend Phil (Philip Jackson) along and all his less than impressed adult children - Bob (Youssef Kerkour), Glen (Joe Tracini) and Alex (Sally Phillips).

The weekend soon takes a turn when they discover a dead wedding guest, and before long Gemma and Terry have a ticking clock to solve the murder before their wedding can take place.

Despite overbearing family members, a very strange Nanny (Ellen Thomas) and a lack of solid evidence, Gemma and Terry's detective teamwork brings them closer together, and it finally looks like the hapless pair will get to make their long-awaited nuptials. But in true Murder, They Hope style an uninvited guest causes Gemma and Terry's world to fall apart.

Jason Manford returns as Freddie and Shobna Gulati also returns as Vicky.
