Maggie Brooks is a divorced school teacher who lives alone in a small but well-appointed flat in London. Well, sort-of alone, because with a neighbour like Mrs Perry she rarely manages to get any peace or privacy!
Whilst Maggie's on the search for Mr. Right, it seems increasingly apparent that Mrs. P's continued presence and infuriating interventions will ensure the path to true love will always run rough.
