Further details
In this episode, Sir Lenny welcomes comedy genius Romesh Ranganathan - one of the hardest working men in modern comedy.
Romesh takes Lenny on a hilarious adventure into the archives of stand-up comedy, as Lenny explores where Romesh's unique take on the comedy travelogue sits amongst the pantheon of other great stars. Romesh also lays out the secrets behind using your family as part of a comedy routine... and the pitfalls behind it - one being when your very own mum takes charge!
Together, Lenny and Romesh rampage through the greatest hits and clips of stand-up, taking in Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy on the way, and discuss breaking new ground - not to mention taboos. They also uncover some of the comedy technique shown off by British stand-ups like Michael McIntyre and Sarah Millican, and why the hospitality industry provides such rich sitcom material in iconic shows like Fawlty Towers and Chef!
