Amina (Series 1)

Amina is a geeky microbiology PhD student who's on the lookout for love and romance.

A guitar teacher in her spare time, she ends up reluctantly joining Lady Parts as a way of getting a date with Ahsan... but soon ends up loving being part of the bank. However, will her stage fright allow her to perform in front of a crowd?

Saira (Series 1)

Lady Parts' fierce and enigmatic frontwoman Saira set up the band. She sees something in Amina that the others in the band can't see, and aims to help her get over her stage fright.

Saira works in a butchers, and is dating Abdullah in an on-off kind of way.

Ayesha (Series 1)

Ayesha is the drummer of the band. When she's not playing music, she's working as an Uber driver.

Bisma (Series 1)

Bisma is the calm one of the group. She is the bassist and backing vocalist for Lady Parts.

When she's not playing with the band she's selling her artwork via her street stall, or looking after her daughter.

Momtaz (Series 1)

Momtaz is the band's wheeler-dealer band manager. She sorts out their gigs and makes strategic decisions to try and help them get into the big time.

Ahsan (Series 1)

Amina fancies Ahsan, Ayesha's dreamboat brother. However, whenever the two of them meet up things go awkwardly for Amina.

Noor (Series 1)

Noor is Amina's best friend.

Noor is preparing to get married, and Amina is supposed to be supporting her with those plans... but Amina keeps getting distracted by Lady Parts business.

Abdullah (Series 1)

Postman Abdullah is Saira's boyfriend. Sort of. He'd love to call her his girlfriend and make their relationship more official, but she seems scared of the commitment.
