Filmed in Bury St Edmunds, Here Comes The Queen was written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft ('Allo 'Allo!, Dad's Army) and starred Les Dennis and ex-EastEnder and Are You Being Served? star Wendy Richard. The pilot follows the story of a brother and sister from Romford who discover they are the two remaining heirs to a Russian throne. Also appearing were Philip Madoc, Burt Kwouk, Janie Dee, Mark Dexter and Niky Wardley. The producer was Penny Croft.
